As a freelance film and video editor, it is my passion to build and shape emotional moments and arcs in the cutting room during the third – and final – birth of a film.
I am drawn to stories that inspire empathy and understanding in the audience, even with unlikely characters and – in documentary films – with people in challenging situations that make complex, maybe controversial, but still very human choices. I deeply enjoy working on projects that invite the viewer to ask questions and connect with their own humanity.
What I value most about filmmaking is that it is truly a team effort -

As a visual artist, I am fascinated by the human body in movement, by the play of light and shadow, the expression of emotion and radical perspectives. Trained at TLC, Wellington, and MTM Animation School, Toronto, in Nicolaïdes' "Natural Way To Draw", I am well versed in human anatomy and dynamic figure drawing from both imagination and short/continuous poses, discovered a natural knack for practical 3D and gained experience as a teacher.
I especially love the moment when art and film meet and inspire each other - building new worlds together. To filmmakers, I offer concept art, storyboards, sculptures and props -
