About

Ever since I first saw "The Empire Strikes Back" on TV at the age of thirteen, I have been captivated by the magic of cinema. Eager to understand how films are made, I devoured countless books, magazines, and interviews. It took several detours through science, art, and long travels before I finally found the courage to follow my heart all the way. In 2013, I moved to Berlin and embarked on a journey to learn the craft of filmmaking. It was in the editing room where I discovered my true passion.

Since 2017, I have worked as a freelance editor for directors, producers, musicians, theater makers, and various online media outlets. I have also proven my skills on larger projects, most notably as co-editor of a 53-minute documentary that won an award at the Berlin Independent Film Festival. In the past two years, I've also edited scripted short films from scratch – from action and comedy to independent drama, up to 36 minutes. Last not least, I discovered my passion for sound design.

Directors and colleagues particularly value my collaborative and passionate approach, as well as the creativity, curiosity, and insightful questions I bring to their vision. Technically, I am proficient in all major editing software, including Avid, Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro X, and DaVinci Resolve.
